MG-ADL Calculator

How to Calculate MG-ADL

The MG-ADL assesses the impact of myasthenia gravis on daily activities through an 8-item questionnaire.

FORMULA

The total MG-ADL score is calculated by summing the scores from all 8 items on the questionnaire.

\( \begin{aligned} \text{MG-ADL Score} = &\ \text{Talking} + \text{Chewing} + \text{Swallowing} \\ &+ \text{Breathing} + \text{Brush/Comb} \\ &+ \text{Arise from Chair} + \text{Double Vision} + \text{Eyelid Droop} \end{aligned} \)

Notes:

Each item is graded from 0 to 3 based on the severity of impairment.

Enter the grades for each item and calculate the result.

Note: Ensure all fields are selected.

Using the MG-ADL Calculator

This calculator helps assess the severity of myasthenia gravis based on activities of daily living.

Select the appropriate grade for each of the 8 items. The calculator sums the scores and provides the disease severity interpretation.

  6. Arise from Chair: 0
  7. Double Vision: 0
  8. Eyelid Droop: 0
  9. Score: 3
  10. Severity: Mild disease

Example 2: Talking (2), Chewing (3), Swallowing (2), Breathing (1), Brush/Comb (2), Arise from Chair (3), Double Vision (2), Eyelid Droop (3).
